Fire Sale

In this sidesplitting comedy, a well-meaning but hapless father Benny (Vincent Gardenia) sets off a chain of events when he hires his son Russell (Rob Reiner) to watch the family department store while he's away on vacation. However, things take a turn for the absurd when Russell discovers that their father is planning to collect on the fire insurance policy after setting the store ablaze, and he teams up with his brother Ezra (Alan Arkin), who just wants to use the money to adopt an orphaned teenager. As they try to stop their hapless but villainous uncle Sherman from collecting on the policy, hilarity ensues in this outrageous comedy about family, greed, and arson.
