You Nazty Spy!

In this 1940 comedy film directed by Jules White and starring The Three Stooges, Moe Howard plays a bumbling dictator, Curly Gallstone is a Field Marshal, and Larry Pebble becomes Minister of Propaganda in a satire of the Nazis. The Stooges, originally wallpaper hangers, are unwittingly installed as figureheads for a Moronika dictatorship by three disgruntled munitions manufacturers. Their ineptitude quickly unravels their authority, leading to an angry mob and ultimately, their demise at the hands of lions in a darkly comedic finale.
