Charles Dorety was a film actor born on May 20, 1898, in San Francisco, California. A versatile performer who emerged from the circus and vaudeville world, he appeared in numerous silent comedies for studios like Fox, L-KO, and Universal. Notable roles include his turn as a Storm Trooper in "You Nazty Spy!" (1940) and his work alongside Dorothy Devore in the series "Mike and Ike" (1928-1929). Dorety passed away on April 2, 1957, in Hollywood, California.
