Burnt Offerings

A family, including Karen Black as Marian Rolf and Oliver Reed as Ben Rolf, moves into a large old mansion in the countryside for the summer. The house seems to have a mysterious and sinister power over its new residents. As they settle in, strange accidents occur and the house appears to rejuvenate itself, feeding on the family's energy. The family begins to interpersonally dissolve under supernatural forces, leading to a descent into madness and terror.
