A 1974 American heist comedy film directed by Gower Champion and written by Wendell Mayes, "The Bank Shot" follows a bank temporarily housed in a mobile home while a new building is built, making it an easy target for a break-in. In a bold move, the team decides to steal the whole bank instead of just breaking into it. As they put their plan into action, everything seems to be going according to plan, but when things start to go awry, the team's efforts ultimately lead to a chaotic and hilarious outcome. The film closes with a daring ocean escape, leaving behind a determined warden with a vow to learn to swim and catch the thief once again.
