Belphegor: Phantom of the Louvre

In the 2001 French fantasy film "Belphegor: Phantom of the Louvre", a ghostly spirit escapes from a collection of artifacts brought to the famous Musée du Louvre in Paris and makes its way into the museum's electrical system. The spirit, Belphegor, possesses a young woman named Lisa (Sophie Marceau), who then uses her newfound ability to steal rare Egyptian treasures on display at the museum. Renowned detective Verlac (Michel Serrault) is brought out of retirement to track down the thief and uncover the truth behind the cursed artifacts, which were brought back from an archeological dig in Egypt.
