The Brother from Another Planet

A mute alien with the appearance of a black human is chased by outer-space bounty hunters through the streets of Harlem. He crash-lands his ship on Ellis Island and begins to blend in with the locals, forming unlikely friendships and connections. As he navigates this unfamiliar world, he uses his unique powers to heal wounds, fix machines, and communicate with others in creative ways. Ultimately, he finds himself caught between his desire for a new life and his impending capture by the men in black who seek to return him to his home planet.
