Jack Be Nimble

Alexis Arquette plays Jack, who decides to escape his abusive adoptive family and search for his long-lost sister Dora (Sarah Smuts-Kennedy), whose telepathic powers lead her to find him. The film follows their perilous journey as they evade the four daughters of their adoptive parents, seeking revenge for their demise at Jack's hands. Director Garth Maxwell weaves a stylised supernatural tale that cuts back and forth between scenes of their childhood and adolescence, evoking their misery and isolation with a feverish intensity.
