Minions: The Rise of Gru

In 1976, eleven-year-old Gru dreams of becoming a supervillain, assisted by his loyal Minions, whom he has hired to work for him. He applies to join the Vicious Six, a supervillain team now led by Belle Bottom, but their audition goes poorly - until he steals their most powerful stone, an emerald-encrusted Zodiac Stone. With this prized possession in hand, Gru embarks on a quest to become a villain and outdo his idol, the Vicious Six, leading to a showdown with this evil team that will test his skills and friendships.
