The Forgotten is a 2019 Ukrainian-Swiss drama film about Nina, a 30-year-old Ukrainian language teacher living in occupied Luhansk during the Russian-Ukrainian war, who risks her life to free a 17-year-old orphan, Andrii, from the police after he hangs the Ukrainian flag on his school roof. As they form an unlikely friendship, Nina tries to remind people that they deserve a future too.
