Set against the lush backdrop of French Indochina's rubber plantation, Clark Gable stars in a romantic drama that explores the complexities of love and infidelity. As owner Dennis Carson falls for refined wife Barbara Willis, he finds himself drawn back to his past flame Vantine, a sultry prostitute who brings laughter and mischief to his life. With monsoons raging, tigers prowling, and labor tensions simmering, this classic tale of romantic triangle unfolds with wit, charm, and drama.
