The Incredible Melting Man

Astronaut Steve West (Alex Rebar) returns to Earth after a space flight to Saturn and begins to melt away due to radiation exposure. Escaping from the hospital, he wanders around the backwoods looking for human flesh to eat, driven by desperation to stave off his disfigurement. Characterized by gory makeup effects, the film follows West's transformation into a monstrous creature, with Dr. Ted Nelson (Burr DeBenning) trying to help him and General Michael Perry (Myron Healey) seeking to capture him.
