Astragal

On a night in April 1957, Albertine (Leïla Bekhti), a 19-year-old girl serving a sentence for a holdup, jumps from prison and is rescued by Julien (Reda Kateb), a justice fugitive who takes her to Paris and hides her. As they struggle with the consequences of his gangster life, Albertine finds herself torn between her desire for freedom and the wounds inflicted by Julien's absence, while writing poetry.
