Love in a Fallen City

In 1941, Pai Liu-So (Cora Miao) is ostracized by her family after divorcing her wealthy husband and moves to Hong Kong under the guise of becoming Mrs. Hsu's nanny. There, she meets Fan Liu-Yuan (Chow Yun-Fat), a charming businessman who tries to win her over, despite her initial reluctance. As the Japanese invasion of China looms, Pai finds herself in war-torn Hong Kong with Fan, where they begin to realize their true feelings for each other amidst chaos and uncertainty.
