Ladrón que roba a ladrón

Emilio, a Colombian con man (Miguel Varoni), arrives in LA with two weeks to complete his plan to rob a former colleague, Claudio Silvestrini (played by Fernando Colunga), who poses as Moctezuma Valdéz and sells snake oil to Latin immigrants. Emilio's friend Alejandro (Fernando Colunga) has assembled a team of amateurs, including a father and daughter, a techie, and a muscle man, to help him gain entry to Silvestrini's well-guarded mansion, steal two keys to access a vault, and escape with the money. Along the way, Alejandro has been courting Silvestrini's nanny, Gloria (Julie Gonzalo), who is revealed to be his wife, a spy he had implanted without the crew's knowledge.
