The Perfect Dictatorship

The film "La dictadura perfecta" (The Perfect Dictatorship) is a 2014 Mexican black comedy political satire that follows Governor Carmelo Vargas as he attempts to repair his image and become a presidential candidate after being involved in serious crimes and illicit business. The film satirizes numerous political events that had happened in Mexico during the time period, including contracts between Televisa and the PRI-PVEM campaign, the Paulette Gebara Farah case, and a plot twist involving the kidnapping of two girls.
