The Seburi Story

In the harsh landscape of western Japan, a traditional nomadic tribe faces an unrelenting onslaught from modernity and war. The Seburi people, culturally isolated until the 1950s, are forced to confront the encroaching world head-on, as military police round up their men for conscription and tensions with non-Seburi townspeople simmer just below the surface.
