Caught Up

Daryl Allen (Bokeem Woodbine), an ex-con, plans to get his life straight and be a part of his son's life after being released from prison. He meets Jake, his parole officer (Tony Todd), and is informed that if he gets into trouble again, he will serve 25 years to life in prison. Daryl then meets Vanessa Dietrich (Cynda Williams), a psychic who looks exactly like his ex-girlfriend, and they spend the night together. After initially refusing to work for Billy, her friend, Daryl eventually takes the job as a limo driver, meeting Herbert (Clifton Powell) along the way. However, things take a deadly turn when Daryl discovers that Vanessa is in danger from her former lover Ahmad, who wants revenge for a stolen diamond case.
