A couple's cross-country road trip turns into a desperate fight for survival when they pick up a psychotic hitchhiker with a deadly past and a thirst for revenge. Based on an unverified novel, the film follows Walter and Eve as they navigate the treacherous terrain of California, caught in a web of violence and terror. After being held hostage by the deranged Adam Konitz, the couple must confront their own dark desires and make a heart-wrenching choice that will leave only one of them alive.
