Samurai Reincarnation

After surviving the slaughter of many Christians 350 years ago, Sonny Chiba as Jubei Yagyu denounces God for ignoring the pleas of believers and sells his soul to Satan. He is resurrected by Kenji Sawada's Shiro Amakusa, a Christian rebellion leader who renounces God for abandoning him and thousands of Christians to be massacred by the Tokugawa regime. Shiro recruits Jubei along with Hosokawa Gracia, Miyamoto Musashi, and Buddhist monk Hozoin Inshun to join his cause as regret-filled demons, seeking vengeance against those responsible for their past betrayals and traumas.
