Akiko Kana was a Japanese actress born on March 8, 1956, in Eighty-eight City, Tokyo. She began her career after winning the NTV 'Water Margin' contest as a teenager and debuted at 17 under the name Yumi Furukawa. In the early 1980s, she appeared in notable films such as 'Yakuza Ladies' (1986), 'Samurai Reincarnation' (1981), and 'The Woman' (1980).
