Evergreen is a 1934 British musical film directed by Victor Saville starring Jessie Matthews as Harriet Green and her daughter Harriet Hawkes in a dual role. The film follows Harriet's mysterious disappearance on the eve of her wedding, years later she reappears on stage looking young and beautiful again. Jessie Matthews performs alongside Sonnie Hale and Barry MacKay, with music written by Rodgers and Hart.
