Fatherland

In an alternate 1960s Germany still under Nazi control, American journalist Charlie Maguire and German homicide cop SS-Sturmbannführer Xavier March stumble into a plot to destroy all evidence of the Holocaust after Maguire's discovery of a photograph and a note leads her to a high-ranking Nazi official. As they work together to uncover the truth, they are pursued by the Gestapo and other powerful forces who will stop at nothing to keep the regime's darkest secrets buried. With the help of Anna von Hagen, March's mistress and a former stage actress, Maguire and March risk everything to expose the atrocities committed during the war and bring about a measure of justice in a society that has forgotten its own dark history.
