In the 1962 film "The Testament of Dr. Mabuse," detective Kriminalkommissar Lohmann (Gert Fröbe) visits notorious Doctor Mabuse (Wolfgang Preiss), who has been locked away in an insane asylum, to uncover clues behind a series of crimes plaguing Berlin. As the investigation unfolds, it becomes clear that Doctor Mabuse's supposed mental instability may be more than just a facade. The film is a remake of Fritz Lang's 1933 classic "The Testament of Dr. Mabuse."
