Carry on Teacher

At Maudlin Street Secondary Modern School, William Wakefield is acting headmaster who spots an ad for a new school and decides to apply, but his plans are foiled by his scheming pupils, led by Robin Stevens, who plan to sabotage everything in their bid to make him leave. Meanwhile, Miss Felicity Wheeler, the Ministry of Education inspector, takes an interest in science master Gregory Adams, who enlists her help to win her over and foil the pupils' plans. As the story unfolds, Wakefield's position as headmaster is put to the test, but ultimately he finds a way to keep his job by winning over Miss Wheeler and convincing her that staff-pupil relationships at the school are excellent.
