In 1979, 19-year-old Irish-American gas station attendant Shane O'Shea is plucked from obscurity by Steve Rubell, co-owner of New York's infamous Studio 54 disco club, and lands a coveted job behind the bar - and a front-row ticket to the most legendary party on the planet.
