Herbie Goes Bananas

Pete Stancheck (Stephen W. Burns) inherits Herbie from his uncle and travels to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with friend Davy "D.J." Johns to retrieve the car. They meet a mischievous little pickpocket that Herbie takes a liking to, which leads to a series of adventures as they try to outsmart villains who are planning to steal gold from Inca ruins. Along the way, Pete and D.J. team up with an anthropology student named Melissa and her aunt Louise, who is trying to find a husband for her niece, while Herbie befriends Paco, a comically mischievous orphaned pickpocket, and together they thwart the villains' plans.
