The Bad News Bears Go to Japan

In this 1978 American sport comedy film, small-time promoter/hustler Marvin Lazar chaperones the pint-sized baseball team to Japan for a match against the country's best little league baseball team, sparking a series of adventures and mishaps that challenge cultural and personal boundaries. The trip brings together new and familiar faces from the original "classic" lineup of Bears players, as they navigate the unfamiliar terrain of Japanese culture and baseball.
