Kobe Kokusai Gang

In 1947, in Kobe, Japan, a local street gang fights for their survival when its turf is overrun by United States occupation forces and international gangs. High-kick action star Ken Takakura plays Masato Dan, a young man who leads the gang against rival factions and the occupying forces. Bunta Sugawara co-stars as Kenzo Otaki, a veteran member of the gang. The film's story is based on the life of yakuza leader Satoru Sugihara, known for his involvement in organized crime during Japan's post-war occupation.
