Biography

Rokkō Toura was a Japanese stage and film actor born Mutsuhiro Toura on April 30, 1937, in Osaka. He graduated from Kyoto University and initially worked as an English teacher before becoming an actor at Shochiku studios under Nagisa Ōshima's recommendation. His notable roles include Sakurada Mamoru in "The Ceremony" (1971) and Detective Nishimura in "Kobe Kokusai Gang" (1975), showcasing his versatility on screen.
