Adrift in Manhattan

The lives of three lonely strangers intersect while commuting on New York's 1 and 9 subway lines. Heather Graham plays Rose Phipps, an ophthalmologist dealing with grief after her son's death. Victor Rasuk stars as Simon Colon, a 20-year-old photo shop clerk, who becomes obsessed with Rose's scarf. The film follows the connection between Rose, Simon, and Tommaso Pensara (Dominic Chianese), a painter struggling with blindness, as they navigate their emotional isolation in the big city.
