Itsuka dokusho suruhi

Minako (Yuko Tanaka), a 50-year-old single woman, begins her day by delivering milk door to door in her hometown, before working as a supermarket cashier. Her route includes a house where she secretly loves a man named Kaita Takanashi (Ittoku Kishibe), who is caring for his terminally ill wife Yoko (Akiko Nishina). As Minako navigates her ordinary existence, the film employs various narrative devices to portray loneliness and hope in the lives of those whose dreams have seemingly slipped away.
