In a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by a deadly virus, a small group of scientists and survivors in Antarctica must navigate a treacherous landscape to find a cure for the pandemic that has wiped out most of humanity's population. Led by Dr. Shûzô Yoshizumi, they face an even greater threat when they discover an earthquake will activate a doomsday device that could launch nuclear devastation worldwide. As the world teeters on the brink of destruction, Yoshizumi and his allies must fight to save themselves and perhaps find a way to restore life to a desolate planet.
