Gallery of Horror

In this bizarre 1967 anthology film, a meandering collection of horror tales unfolds, each one more cringeworthy than the last. Narrated by John Carradine and featuring Lon Chaney Jr., Rochelle Hudson, and Roger Gentry in a string of comically predictable roles, "Gallery of Horror" is a hodgepodge of poorly written episodes cobbled together without regard for coherence or narrative flow. With its cheap thrills, lazy plot twists, and laughable special effects, this low-budget horror show feels like a poor man's imitation of Rod Serling's better work on The Twilight Zone and The Night Gallery.
