Rochelle Hudson was a pioneering American film actress born in Oklahoma City on March 6, 1916. She began her acting career as a teenager, signing with RKO Pictures at 14 and rising to fame in the 1930s alongside notable co-stars such as Shirley Temple and James Dean. Her memorable roles include Cosette in Les Misérables and Natalie Wood's mother in Rebel Without a Cause.
