Invalid

"Invalid" is a dark comedy directed by Jonáš Karásek about Laco Hunder (Gregor Hološka), a grumpy handyman who becomes disabled after being attacked by mafia thugs in 1990s post-Communist Slovakia. With the help of his new friend Gabo, a Romani man played by Zdeněk Godla, Laco plots revenge against the mob that destroyed his life. The film's story is told in retrospect during a police interrogation, where Gabo recounts the events leading up to a bloody confrontation at the museum.
