We Are the Night

Lena Bach (Karoline Herfurth) is bitten by Louise (Nina Hoss), a female vampire leader, and drawn into her world. She falls in love with Tom Serner (Max Riemelt), a young undercover cop investigating a murder case involving the vampires. The film explores themes of depression, self-harm, immortality, suicide, and an all-female society, as Lena struggles to cope with her newfound vampiric lifestyle and torn feelings for Tom.
