Midnight Express

The film "Midnight Express" tells the true story of Billy Hayes, an American college student who is caught attempting to smuggle hashish out of Turkey. After being sentenced to over 30 years in prison, Hayes has two opportunities for release: through his lawyer's appeals or the "Midnight Express", a special transfer that allows him to leave the country under strict supervision. With the help of his fellow prisoners and a Turkish lawyer, Hayes must navigate the harsh conditions of the prison and eventually escape using his wits and language skills.
