Bo Hopkins

Biography

Bo Hopkins was born William Mauldin "Billy" Hopkins on February 2, 1938, in Greenville, South Carolina. He grew up with his adoptive family, experiencing hardship and eventually being sent to live with his grandparents, where he learned about his adoption. After a few stints running away from home, Hopkins found stability with his family. He began acting early in life, making his screen debut as a child before transitioning into more notable roles throughout the 1960s and 1970s.
