Phantom

A chance encounter on a city street sets off a chain of events that becomes an all-consuming obsession for Lorenz Lubota, a young clerk with a passion for poetry. After being run over by a carriage driven by the enigmatic Veronika, Lorenz's thoughts are consumed by her, leading him down a path of desperation and recklessness. His infatuation with Veronika costs him everything: his job, his relationships, and even freedom.
