The film "Tatsumi" is an animated drama based on the life and stories of manga writer Yoshihiro Tatsumi, who revolutionized the art form with darker, more adult tales. The animation brings to life several of his stories, including "Hell", "Beloved Monkey", and "Just a Man". Tetsuya Bessho voices Tatsumi, while Mariko is voiced by Motoko Gollent, and Joe is voiced by Mike Wiluan.
