Mammo

In a powerful and poignant drama, "Mammo" tells the story of Riyaz, a 13-year-old boy living in poverty with his grandmother, Fayyuzi, and her sister, Mammo. A survivor of Partition who fled to India on a temporary visa that was repeatedly revoked due to corruption, Mammo's determination to stay in India is matched only by her resilience in the face of adversity. The film follows Riyaz's journey as he grows up and writes a book about his beloved grandmother, hoping to one day be reunited with her.
