When a new neighbour arrives at Rannveig's doorstep, her everyday life suddenly changes. The cloud of hopelessness that surrounds her marriage and relationship with her almost adult daughter lifts temporarily, but soon the family is forced to confront new challenges in their relationship. Character Donna Cruz plays Agnes Joy, whose arrival shakes up Rannveig's world. As Rannveig navigates these changing dynamics, she must also consider what it means for her own identity and sense of self.
