Schächten

"Schächten" is a 2022 Austrian drama film about Victor Dessauer, a Jewish businessman's son who seeks revenge against Kurt Gogl, a former Nazi concentration camp commandant whose parents were killed by Victor's family. Following a failed attempt to confront Gogl, Victor becomes the target of a hitman and ultimately flees to the United States, where he begins a new life without facing his past. Despite finding some solace in America, Victor continues to research Gogl's fate online.
