Audrey Tautou plays Camille Fauque, who falls ill and is taken in by Philibert (Guillaume Canet) and Franck (Laurent Stocker), Franck's grandmother Paulette (Françoise Bertin). As Camille recovers, she develops feelings for Franck, but he has already fallen in love with her. The trio care for Paulette as she nears death, and eventually Franck must decide between his love for Camille and his obligations to his family.
