Devil (Salman Khan), a charismatic thief, walks away from a whirlwind romance and finds himself pursued by veteran police officer ACP Himanshu Tyagi (Randeep Hooda) after a turf war with local gangster Shiv Gajra (Nawazuddin Siddiqui). As the cat-and-mouse game unfolds, Devi's true intentions as a thief are revealed to be robbing from corrupt businessmen to fund medical treatments for poor children battling diseases. In the end, Devi joins the police force and stands in front of Himanshu on Children's Day, completing his challenge and redeeming himself.
