Flora and Son

"Flora and Son", a musical comedy drama film, tells the story of Flora (Eve Hewson), a Dublin single mom struggling to raise her rebellious teenage son Max (Orén Kinlan). Encouraged by the Gardaí to find Max a hobby, Flora rescues an old guitar from a skip and, with the help of a Los Angeles-based online guitar teacher, discovers that one person's rubbish can be another person's salvation. The film features original songs by John Carney and Gary Clark, as well as performances from Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Jeff, Jack Reynor as Ian, and Eve Hewson herself on her guitar playing skills.
