The Innocent

In this French crime comedy film, a nearly sixty-year-old woman named Sylvie falls in love with Michel, an ex-con she marries in prison, and dreams of starting anew by opening a flower shop with him. However, their union is met with disapproval from Sylvie's son Abel, who suspects Michel will fall back into his life of crime. When Michel is released from prison, he proposes a plan to steal a shipment of caviar to pay off his debt, but things become complicated when Jean-Paul, an associate of Michel's, double-crosses him and forces Abel and his friend Clémence into a prison break, where they also discover their own feelings for each other.
