Beyond the Light Barrier

Beyond the Light Barrier is a documentary film that tells the true story of Elizabeth Klarer, a South African woman who was taken to the planet Meton, orbiting Proxima Centauri, by astrophysicist Akon and lived with his family for four months, bearing him a son. She returns to Earth with detailed technical information about the light propulsion system used in the spaceship, impressing earth scientists. The film features archival footage of Elizabeth Klarer, as well as interviews with her and other individuals who knew her, including John Kani, David Klarer, Credo Vusamazulu Mutwa, and Kitty Smith.
