Suddenly

In the small American town of Suddenly, California, the tranquility is shattered when a train carrying the President of the United States stops there. A group of assassins, led by John Baron (Frank Sinatra), take over the home of Ellen Benson (Nancy Gates) and her family, holding them hostage as their house provides a perfect vantage point to assassinate the President. Sheriff Tod Shaw (Sterling Hayden) arrives with Secret Service agent Dan Carney, but they are met with violence, and Shaw is forced to confront the ruthless assassin and ultimately team up with Ellen to save the day.
